Recently I worked with a bride who truly utilized the current trend of feathers… It was wonderful. We used feathers in her headpiece to accentuate the feathers that where carefully placed in her dress and bouquet. You can see the use of feathers translated from the runway to everyday by noticing embellishments on wedding dresses, birdcage veils evolving to showcase feathers, headpieces being adorned by them and brides even using them in bouquets.
As you are selecting what trends you will incorporate into your special day do not limit yourself. At times we get caught up with the everyday hum drum…or worry about how others will perceive our dash runway look splashed on a traditional picture. I say WOW them all. Give them something to talk about. I was so happy my bride ventured out I was tickled… White.
