The wedding day can be such a blur because of everything the bride and groom have going on. A perfect way to capture all the memories is with a wedding film. A few of the latest trends in wedding films include same day edits, 8mm film, and 3D films. My favorite is the same day edit although I do like stop motion film as well. I don’t see very many stop motion film, but I have come across a couple that are super cute. I’m sure the 3D films are amazing but I have yet to see one… they’re fairly new in the wedding world and if you click on the link above you can see some behind the scenes footage of how it all works.
Same day edits are done on location during your event. After everything is said and done from the ceremony and even getting ready an editor will create a kind of “recap” that can be played at your reception.
Stop motion films are super creative and something I don’t see very often. They are basically a flip book in a film format. The subjects, in this case the bride and groom, are moved ever so slightly for each individually shot frame. Then all the frames are put together to make one cohesive film. I came across this adorable wedding invitation that was shot in stop motion that I think you’ll love just as much as I do.
