Real Wedding Wednesday { Milk Station }

This couple chose to say “I Do” at an old milk station in New Zealand! The simplicity of the decor {crisp white linen with gold accents and delicate floral arrangements} make this such a pretty wedding!

From the Bride: “We wanted our day to be elegant but without the weight of tradition. The styling reflects some odd juxtapositions – a formal table but with casual arrangements featuring some strange twists – a gold handgun, a dinosaur on the table. My very clever sister in law helped with the details immensely. The day was just as we planned, relaxed and intimate and shared with loved ones – the perfect celebration for us.”

Real Wedding Wednesday {500 Days of Summer}

This summery engagement session is just so stinking cute! I’m loving the hand-crafted backdrops and all the little details!!!

Real Wedding Wednesday { The Secret Garden }

Secret Garden themed weddings are always so gorgeous!!! The lush floral, colors, and little details make this southern California wedding an event to remember =)

From the bride: “For the wedding, I wanted guests to feel like they’d been transported to an English garden and into a slightly different time. That’s where the theme started and then it morphed from there to a vintage English/boho feel. Obviously, this theme was more about me than my husband (and he was fantastic about it) so I wanted to do something at the wedding that was specifically for him. So, we designed a “gentlemen’s corner” at the reception that was vintage golf themed (since my husband loves to golf) with antique clubs, tee signs, plaid pillows and golf ball cake pops as well as other manly touches like antlers and vintage cut glass alcohol bottles and decanters.”

Real Wedding Wednesday { Flowers Plantation }

Ashley & Jordan said “I Do” at a totally swoon worthy plantation fit for a southern couple in North Carolina. They incorporated lots of southern traditions {they even held the ceremony on the front porch} and featured their reception under a gorgeous tent! My fav detail – the hydrangea and magnolia leaf garland!

Real Wedding Wednesday {Pebble Hill Plantation}

How can you not love the romance of a southern wedding!? And the Pebble Hill Plantation in southern Georgia is literally the epitome of southern elegance.

From the bride: “We wanted our special day to be a product of our love and hard work to symbolize the commitment we were making to each other – that is why we did just about everything ourselves: I made all the bouquets with a couple of my bridesmaids as well as the candles in the mason jars that served as the party favors, the table numbers and the directional signs to point guests in the right direction. My mom made the ribbon wands used in our entrance to the reception and gathered hundreds of pinecones for decoration (she even turned an old coffee table into a kids chalk board activity table to keep them busy at the reception), my grandmother sewed the Mr. and Mrs. sashes that adorned our chairs and she also sewed the flower girl dresses. Andrew made all of the wooden planter boxes that were our centerpieces at the reception, he also made the corn hole boards that were used during our cocktail hour. It was a group effort and the fact that so many people put time and love into our wedding is the most precious gift of all.”
