Tips & Timelines {Bridal Shows}

It’s that time again… Bridal Show season and we LOVE them! Just wanted to take a moment to give you “oh I’m so excited” couples a few tips:

  1. Research – do a little research and determine your desired budget and needs. Then hit the bridal show floor prepared to seek out vendors in the categories you need!
  2. Pace yourself – take your time! Try not to rush and make sure you get your “face-time” in with your desired vendors
  3. Prepare – pack a little bridal show survival kit complete with bottled water, labels (to include your name, fiancé’s name, wedding date, & contact method), granola bar (or something similar), and patience :)
  4. Have fun – you are planning one of the most important moments of your life. Enjoy the planning process!!

Side bar: Remember, all of the vendors participating are just as excited to meet and converse with you… respect their time and resources!

Today I’m sharing some gorgeous gowns from Samuelle Couture, a company based out of New York. They have such a lovely aethereal feel and would be perfect for a romantic garden wedding =)

Very rarely do I see the mother-of-the-bride in an attractive wedding outfit. So many dresses/gowns these days are just too matronly! I’ve made it my mission to find alternatives to the traditional dress and bolero ensemble that so many MOB’s don.

These are three great options from Nordstrom. They’re perfect on their own but think how gorgeous they’d be with a brooch or some jewelry. I’m also really liking this ruffled collar option from J. Crew.
