Tuesday Tips { Rehearsal Dinner Attire }

Last week we talked all about rehearsal dinners, so this week I’m sharing some super cute rehearsal dinner dresses fit for the bride-to-be. The rehearsal dinner is kind of a practice run for the reception so it’s important to look bridal without having to wear a full blown wedding gown.

Tuesday Tips { Rehearsal Dinners }

Rehearsal dinners are always one of my favorite events during the “wedding weekend.” Close family members and friends get a chance to meet and mingle + you get to eat some delicious food! A lot of people wonder who hosts the rehearsal dinner… tradition says that the groom & his parents host this event while the bride and her parents host the actual wedding. But with so many couples wanting to go outside the box, it’s not uncommon for the bride + groom to host or even both sets of parents co-hosting.

One of my favorite locations for hosting rehearsal dinners { or any type of intimate event } is Ceviche Tapas Bar & Restaurant in downtown Orlando. They have a beautiful event space near the Flamenco bar that features a wall full of candles and lots of elegant draping.

Tips & Timelines { Guest Book Quilt }

Ditch the traditional guest book and snuggle up under a quilt signed by your wedding guests instead! You’ll literally be able to wrap yourself in all their well wishes ;-)

These are just bits of extra fabric purchased from various thrift shops- have your guests sign their favorite piece, sew them together, and viola! Now you’ve got yourself a keepsake that will last a lifetime!

Tips & Timelines {Bridesmaid Gift Ideas}

Choosing the perfect gift for someone is always a difficult task, but when it comes to bridesmaids gifts, that’s a whole other story! Give something super personal (like a keepsake) to show how much you appreciate their help on your big day.

If you are going for a more personal gift, try creating a personalized photo album or scrapbook to show your love and appreciation for being apart of your special day. If your bridesmaids are the outdoorsy type, consider a monogrammed beach towel or tote bag. If she happens to be the stylish type, she may appreciate a piece of customized jewelry with her birthstone or something such as an engraved necklace or bracelet.
